What is the difference between Frixion Fit® and stick-fit ?

The unique Frixion Fit® technology makes it possible for the driver bit to fit perfectly into the screw recess while you drive in the screw with one hand.

Unlike traditional stick-fit solutions, the Frixion Fit® technology releases the bit from the recess after driving, and thereby avoids jam-fit.

No strip-out of collated screws
The TORX® ttap® drive system works excellently on collated screws, since it is almost impossible for the screws to strip-out. The ttap® stability button keeps the fastener straight through operation, allowing easier and faster operations.

TORX® ttap® is compatible with TORX®
TORX® ttap® screws are compatible with TORX® bits, however, to benefit from the advantages of the patented and improved ttap® pilot feature, you have to use an authentic TORX® ttap® bit.

The copies and look-alike TORX fasteners and drivers, commonly called six-lobe, Hexlobe®, Star or TX, are not produced under the same quality control system as the original TORX®.

TORX® ttap® vs Phillips / Pozidriv®

Phillips / Pozidriv® drive system was originally designed to create cam-out. The conical side walls deflect the torque upwards, and makes it necessary to end load and push the driver.

TORX® ttap® eliminates cam-out and enables easier operations because there is no need to end-load or apply pressure to the driver. The drive angle is perpendicular to the axis of the fastener.

TORX® ttap® vs TORX® / Star / TX / Hexlobe®

TORX® and Star copies / TX create wobbling due to the small angle between the top on one side and the bottom on the opposite side.

TORX® ttap® eliminates wobbling and enables Stable Drive®

through the increased angle between the top on one side and the bottom on the opposite side.

TORX® ttap® vs Hex systems

Hex systems cause inefficient torque transfer and rapid tool wear.
